The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular biology/metabolism and a passion for advancing scientific knowledge. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative research projects while developing your expertise in various laboratory techniques. Duties Conduct independent research in the field of molecular biology and in vivo assays (such as echocardiography, tolerance tests, etc) Perform microscopy and Western blot analysis to investigate protein interactions and cellular processes. Utilize programming skills in Python and statistical analysis software such as SAS for data analysis and interpretation. Collaborate with team members on clinical research projects Prepare and present research findings at meetings, conferences, and in publications. Mentor graduate students and assist in training laboratory staff on various techniques and protocols. Qualifications A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmaology, Genetics or a related field. Proficiency in laboratory techniques including transfection, PCR, chromatography, microscopy, and Western blotting. Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
