Job Description To oversee regulatory, quality improvement, safety and continuing education operations of hospital laboratories. To collect and report regulatory data and coordinate quality improvement/process improvement (QI/PI) teams. To serve as a liaison to regulatory agencies, professional organizations and external healthcare providers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Clinical Laboratory or a laboratory science related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Cytotechnologist (CT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or as a Medical Technologist (MT) with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
