This is a full-time, on-site or off-site position for candidates who are detail-oriented, well-organized, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with insurance carriers and lab ownership to develop, negotiate, and implement agreements Influence contract strategies and lead complex contract negotiations Manage new provider enrollment and credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Submit applications, maintain registrations, and update required provider/laboratory information Maintain existing contracts and handle re-credentialing processes in a timely manner Navigate payer portals and billing software (e.g., CollaborateMD) Assist in reviewing and negotiating insurance fee schedules Maintain strong working relationships with third-party payers and partner networks Participate in departmental meetings and represent the lab professionally at all times

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical laboratory credentialing (only candidates with this background will be considered) Strong knowledge of payer enrollment processes, credentialing portals, and healthcare compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with billing or practice management software (CollaborateMD a plus) Ability to create reports, analyze data, and present credentialing metrics clearly Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and follow-through Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities Ability to exert up to 25 lbs of force occasionally (filing, carrying documents, etc.)
