Medical Laboratory ScientistJob Description We are seeking a Florida Licensed Medical Technologist to join our team. This role requires expertise in various medical laboratory disciplines, contributing to accurate and timely diagnostic results. Responsibilities + Conduct laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and molecular biology. + Process and analyze specimens using advanced laboratory techniques. + Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results. + Collaborate with clinical staff to provide quality patient care. + Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory. Essential Skills + Florida License in Medical Technology. + Proficiency in laboratory techniques and technologies. + Strong knowledge of chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. + Experience with blood banking and clinical laboratory practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is preferred. + Experience in medical laboratory operations and procedures. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Environment The position is based in a medical diagnostic laboratory, offering a professional setting equipped with advanced technologies. The work involves regular shifts, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic services. Appropriate laboratory attire is required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $40.00/hr.
