Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience Position SummaryA medical technologist has the appropriate educational backgroundto perform laboratory procedures on neonatal, pediatric, and adultspecimens using established and approved protocols that require thebroad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility withminimal technical supervision, maintains equipment and records, andperforms quality assurance activities related to test performance.

Performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and bodyfluids using both automated and manual methods. A technologistperforms a broad range of laboratory procedures in one or moreareas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, immunohematologyor microbiology. Ensures the delivery of quality laboratoryservices and accurate, timely reporting of lab test results whichmeets the standards of practice, established policies andprocedures, and applicable laws and regulations at West BocaMedical Center and/or off site at West Boca Emergency Center. Atechnologist adheres to the legal responsibilities and scope ofpractice as written by the Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel,State of Florida. The technologist’s role subsumes all aspects ofthe technician’s role.
