Job Description
Medical Laboratory Scientist II Per Diem Days 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 5352 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL 33484 Summary Medical Technologist Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures in Blood Bank or Microbiology and at least one other Lab section/location based on State licensure and experience. Medical Technologist Utilizes all principles of quality control in the performance of laboratory testings according to established DMC and Tenet Healthcare Corporation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and guidelines. Medical Technologist Adheres to all Federal, State and Regulatory Agency standards (Joint Commission, AHCA, AABB). Medical Technologist Performs and fulfills all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency/disaster.
Qualifications Education Required:
Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Science or other qualification recognized by the State of Florida for Technologist level licensure
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree Experience Completion of an approved course of Clinical Training in Medical Technology. Generalist experience.
