Leveraging our team’s expertise in antibody discovery and engineering, we have created a robust pipeline of differentiated investigational therapeutic candidates for well-validated targets. Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology, the Associate Director will work with Research and Development teams by applying one or more of the following pharmacometrics capabilities such as

PPK, PKPD

models, exposure-response (ER) analysis, and/or quantitative system pharmacology models, to advance Viridian early and late-stage programs. This role may be hybrid or based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week. Travel to headquarters for meetings may be required at the discretion of management. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Provide Pharmacometrics leadership and support to the program advancement Collaborate with across-functional teams including but not limited to pharmacology, translational science, preclinical Tox/PK, clinical, and CMC, to cultivate data in supporting model building and data interpretation Design and build pharmacometrics models in one or more of the following areas: PPK, ER, PKPD, or QSP, with internal and/or literature data Conducting non-clinical and clinical simulations to address research and development questions Experience in data mining and exploratory analysis of preclinical and clinical datasets to generate insights for internal decision making Stay informed with the emerging literature in modeling approaches in PMx field Maintain current understanding of global regulatory expectations for biologics, and author regulatory documents (eg IND/CTAs, CSRs, PMx reports) Requires a PhD or equivalent in educational background in Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical engineer, Physics, computational biology, or a related field with 9+ years of Pharmacometric experience: such as NONMEM, R, Monolix, or Matlab Understanding of the theory, principles, and practice of modeling and simulation Proficiency in performing PMx analyses and communicating the results to non-modelers Ability to learn emerging models, new areas of biological and clinical sciences Knowledge of drug development, PK and clinical Pharmacology principles are required Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks Strong commitment to ethical standards Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) Ability to travel up to 20% The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience Viridian offers a comprehensive benefits package including: C ompetitive pay and stock options for all employees Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% of premiums paid by Viridian for employees and their eligible dependents Fertility and mental health programs Short- and long-term disability coverage Life, Travel and
