The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs advanced clinical procedures, including chemical, biological, immunological, and bacteriological testing with an understanding of the theory and principles. The person must have compassion for patients and be able to represent the hospital mission. The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist is cross-trained in multiple areas of the laboratory within professional certification and performs phlebotomy as needed.
Education:
Four-year college (Bachelor’s Degree)
Certification:
MT ASCP or MLS (ASCP)
