Position Description:

The Duke Quantum Center (DQC) invites applicants for positions as DQC Postdoctoral Associates. The DQC conducts research on the entire stack of a quantum information system from the underlying physics to hardware design, applications, and algorithms (quantum.duke/ ). The working environment is interdisciplinary and collaborative with scientists, engineers, and mathematicians coming together to co-design the next generation of high-performance quantum systems. DQC Postdoctoral Associate will work on developing and evaluating quantum-focused public engagement programs for learners in pre-college and early undergraduate. This includes the creation of quantum science and career reference materials for non-experts in quantum, including future quantum computer users/developers. S/he will also assist in the creation of course materials for science communication of abstract physics topics.
