05/22/2025 Inizio Engage, in partnership with Danaher Diagnostics, is building a national team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) focused on advancing medical education and scientific engagement around novel biomarker tests for neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease. This is not a traditional “drug-based” MSL role. Instead, it sits at the intersection of neurology, diagnostics, and laboratory medicines supporting healthcare, laboratory and research professionals in understanding, the role of novel biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases. As a field-based scientific expert, the MSL will facilitate peer-to-peer exchange with KOLs and HCPs, helping shape the future of neurodegenerative disease research, diagnosis and patient management. This role reports to the Medical Science Liaison Director, who oversees field deployment and execution across the neurodegenerative disease program and region. Fortune Best Workplaces in Biopharma 2022 What will you be doing? Serve as a subject matter expert in neurodegenerative disease, such as Alzheimer’s and associated biomarkers
Build and sustain scientific relationships with neurologists, geriatricians, cognitive disorder specialists, and diagnostic laboratory leaders
Educate stakeholders on the research and current state of art of neurodegenerative disease biomarker
Support field readiness by providing balanced, non-promotional, regulation-compliant information to facilitate stakeholder familiarity with biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases
Collaborate with internal partners (Medical Affairs, Diagnostics Strategy, and Commercial teams) to ensure field execution aligns with scientific objectives and compliance expectations
Attend and support engagement at key scientific congresses and relevant diagnostics meetings
Capture and relay scientific insights and feedback to inform medical strategy, education, and evidence-generation efforts
Contribute to broader medical initiatives including advisory boards, data dissemination, and investigator-initiated studies (IIS) What do you need for this position? Advanced degree in a medical or scientific field (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO) or clinical equivalent (NP, PA, MSN)
Minimum 2 years in an MSL, clinical educator, or diagnostic liaison role preferred
Prior experience in neurology, neurodegenerative disease, or diagnostics/laboratory medicine strongly preferred
Deep understanding of biomarkers, clinical guidelines, and diagnostic pathways in neurodegenerative disease
Excellent communication, presentation, and scientific exchange skills
Strong relationship-building capabilities with KOLs and diagnostic stakeholders
