Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist III for the Public Health Research Institute Center within New Jersey Medical School. The Research Teaching Specialist III position under the direction of Principle Investigator will conduct research in the area of immune responses to respiratory infections, including those caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and SARS-CoV-2 . Among the key duties of the position are the following: Performs research involving antibody characterization, human cells, SARS-CoV-2, or other infectious/non-infectious agents as assigned by the PI. Highly organized and willing to interface with other research group in collaborative projects, including shipping and handling materials received from/to collaborators. Keeps up-to-date with technical and theoretical knowledge related to immunopathogenesis. Generates, compiles, and presents experimental data with appropriate conclusions, recommendations, etc. pertinent to research activity. Presents scientific/research contents in institutional, national and international forums. Contributes to writing of IBC and IRB applications and grants to respective agencies. FLSA Exempt Grade 22S Salary Details A maximum of $71,126.00 is budgeted for this position.
