Job Description:

As a Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable test results for patient care. Depending on the department assigned (Hematology, Microbiology, or Chemistry), your duties will vary but will always include performing diagnostic testing, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and following safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform various laboratory tests and assays with accuracy and efficiency in the Hematology, Microbiology, or Chemistry departments. Prepare, process, and analyze patient samples. Interpret test results and report findings to the medical team. Ensure quality control and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments. Follow laboratory safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field. Certification by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) is required. Previous experience in Hematology, Microbiology, or Chemistry laboratory settings is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with a variety of healthcare professionals.
