Your Impact at SAM
The nature of this role is to help prevent damages. The Damage Prevention Specialist works as a liaison to the homeowner and/or contractor and the gas company. Practice safe dig practices in accordance to 811 dig law
Visit active job sites in a company provided vehicle to communicate to contractors or homeowners about safe dig practices in accordance to 811 dig law
Facilitate gas marking corrections and updates as needed
Provide quality checks on utility markings
Accurately complete detailed documentation of daily activities
Assist in identifying marked utilities, structures and maps and in the field
Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment as required
Other tasks as assigned What You Bring to SAM Experience with locating gas utilities highly preferred
Valid driver’s license
Work outdoors under the full range of weather conditions typically experienced throughout all seasons of the year
Proficient communication verbal and written communication
