Job Description

Microbiologist 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Pembroke Pines, FL We are looking for an experienced Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team in a nutraceutical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English & Spanish) and have a strong background in laboratory testing, microbiological analysis, and quality control procedures. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products Perform environmental monitoring to ensure a contamination-free production environment Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing results Document and report test results in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines Assist in investigating microbial contamination issues and implement corrective actions Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure compliance with industry standards Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of the microbiology lab Support regulatory inspections and audits by providing accurate records and reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field Previous experience in a microbiology laboratory within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food industry Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements Ability to perform microbiological testing and interpret results accurately Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Why Join Us?
