Position Overview:

Hiring a highly skilled Quality Control (QC) Microbiologist to join the team in Tamarac, FL. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products by performing microbiological testing, monitoring environmental conditions, and supporting the production process. This is a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including bioburden and sterility testing. Conduct routine environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, production areas, and laboratory facilities. Identify and isolate microorganisms, preparing detailed reports of findings. Support validation and qualification activities for microbiological methods and processes. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all laboratory activities in compliance with cGMP regulations. Perform endotoxin testing and water analysis as required. Investigate and resolve microbiological out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, and non-conformances. Ensure proper operation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field. 2+ years of experience in microbiological testing within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Strong knowledge of cGMP, USP, and FDA regulations. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and microbiological testing methods. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a plus. #IND123 #QualityControl #Microbiologist #
