Job Description
Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Microbiologist to join our team at a leading medical device company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products through rigorous microbiological testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing of medical devices and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Perform routine and specialized microbiological assays, including sterility testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing
- Analyze and interpret microbiological data from sterility testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing and preparing detailed reports and documentation
- Analyze trending reports
- Assist in releasing documents and redlines
- Assist in nonconformances and aid in investigations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, validation, and quality assurance processes
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable test results
- Develop and implement microbiological protocols and procedures to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy
- Stay current with advancements in microbiology and relevant regulatory requirements.
