Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Microbiologist to join our team at a leading medical device company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products through rigorous microbiological testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct microbiological testing of medical devices and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform routine and specialized microbiological assays, including sterility testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing
  • Analyze and interpret microbiological data from sterility testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing and preparing detailed reports and documentation
  • Analyze trending reports
  • Assist in releasing documents and redlines
  • Assist in nonconformances and aid in investigations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, validation, and quality assurance processes
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable test results
  • Develop and implement microbiological protocols and procedures to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay current with advancements in microbiology and relevant regulatory requirements.
