JOB DESCRIPTION A
leading innovator in infection prevention and health promotion is seeking a microbiology expert to join its R D team. This role supports product development and market expansion by ensuring microbiological and sterility standards are met across healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
ROLE SUMMARY
As part of the R D Microbiology team, you’ll lead efforts in sterilization validation, regulatory compliance, and scientific research. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches, optimize lab operations, and contribute to regulatory strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as subject matter expert in microbiology and sterilization. Guide product development with scientific input, testing strategies, and regulatory alignment. Lead sterilization cycle development, validation, and compliance activities. Analyze samples, refine lab methods, and maintain SOPs. Collaborate with formulation, packaging, and operations teams to ensure sterility assurance. Prepare technical reports and support regulatory submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences required; Master’s/Ph.D. preferred. 5+ years in microbiology or sterilization within a regulated environment. Familiarity with FDA regulations and sterilization methods (EtO, Gamma, X-Ray, Dry Heat). Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
