QC Microbiologist Beyond a Resume Millville, NJ 08332 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and laboratory techniques, with a focus on conducting scientific research and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. This role is essential for advancing our understanding of microbial processes and contributing to innovative solutions in the field. Responsibilities Conduct microbiological research and experiments using various laboratory techniques. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during experiments. Perform molecular biology techniques, including PCR and Western blot analysis. Analyze samples using microscopy and biochemistry methods to identify microbial characteristics. Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations in all laboratory activities. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and methodologies in accordance with laboratory protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality assurance efforts. Participate in the development of new testing methods and protocols to enhance laboratory efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proficiency in aseptic technique and experience working in a clinical laboratory setting. Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines. Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR and Western blotting. Familiarity with microscopy techniques for microbial analysis. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in experimental procedures. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
