Summary:

This Quality Microbiologist will support the Home and Personal Care cleansing division in North America.

Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological testing as necessary to support new product development (growth studies, challenge testing, method suitability, gram negative detection) Conduct pasteurization studies to guide industrialization processes Provide lab support for micro audits at company plants (microbial content analysis, risk assessments) Document all work Communicate results with the microbiology team and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

Minimum B.S degree in a scientific discipline (microbiology or similar field preferred), M.S preferred Experience working as a microbiologist in industry is preferred, particularly in the area of quality microbiology or microbiological hygiene Experience working in a BSL 2 laboratory Strong aseptic technique Knowledge of microbiological testing methodologies (i.e.
