Successful candidates would have a Ph.D. in molecular biology, environmental science or biology related field, possess a demonstrated ability to perform organized independent field-relevant research in phototrophic molecular biology, the ability to solve and interpret data to solve problems, and extensive lab experience. Field of study capabilities include genetics, genomics and molecular biology. In the role, the candidate will work on interdisciplinary teams to propose and define scope of technical programs and develop effective and efficient solutions to challenging problems, including development of first of kind concepts in bio-manufacturing for: gaining an understanding of microbial community and genetic factors in microecological population dynamics search for and develop molecular level understandings of the response of autotrophs to various stimuli The Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are fixed term assignments within the company and benefits eligible.
