The Physical Therapy Rehab Tech supports the efficient clinical workflow of our outpatient Physical Therapy services by assisting Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA). Assists with maintaining treatment areas. Prepares for therapy sessions and supports PT and PTA with patient care. Collaborates with other Rehab Techs to optimize coverage. Demonstrates exceptional customer service. Communicates clearly, respectfully, and professionally with patients, family, and clinical team. Complies with all OSHA, HIPAA, BBP and other protocols. This is a full-time position. Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts assigned between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm in our Port St. Lucie (Tradition) office. Requirements:
Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical/medical setting is preferred. Prior work experience as a Rehab Tech helpful. Medical Assistant experience is helpful. Must be cheerful, energetic and able to multi-task in a high patient volume environment. Must be a self-starter, able to demonstrate initiative and apply learning to active clinic environment. Must demonstrate outstanding communication skills in speaking to clinicians, patients and co-workers; must be able to take direction. Computer experience is helpful.
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Lifting, pulling, and stooping when assisting patients up to 300 lbs. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
