Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Makes sure labs are stocked, clean, and maintained
Assists the lab coordinator in maintaining introductory and upper level geology & geography labs
Provides customer service
Assists staff as needed monitoring assigned facilities
Utilizes a multiline phone system to answer and transfer telephone calls
Completes general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents, and data entry
Acts as a substitute lab tutor on an as-needed basis Shift Specifics Up to 10 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Shifts available Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Pursuing a degree in Geosciences or related field A minimum grade of “B” in introductory level Geosciences courses or equivalent
Proposed Salary $10.50 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
