Under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics and insupport of the Senior medical Physicists, responsible for thedesign optimization, technical evaluation and precise and accuratedelivery of radiation plans, responsible for the safety of patientsand staff. Supports and adheres to safety and compliance program toinclude OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics Provide continuingphysics support to the department of radiation oncology. Assist andprovide coverage in areas of instrumentation, equipmentcalibration, treatment planning, dosimetry, radiation protectionand quality assurance. Estimated salary range for this position is$181997.19 – $236596.35 / year depending on experience.

Additional Qualifications:
Masters Degree, or PhD in medical physics from an accreditedCollege or University. Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical radiation physics. For non certified candidates, Board eligibility and completion ofcertification within three years. Must maintain certification and continuing education requirementsoutlined by the American College of Radiology, currentcertification in field by American Board of Radiology or Board ofMedical Physics. Must obtain and maintain certification and valid license formedical physics as required.
