The Orlando Health Cancer Institute Center for Advanced Therapyis seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to joinour team. Applicants must have successfully completed an ACGME accreditedradiation oncology program and be ABR board-certified or boardeligible. The successful candidate is expected to have goodinterpersonal skills, must be skilled in modern radiation oncologypractice, and have the aptitude to work within a strongmultidisciplinary team. This position will provide comprehensiveclinical coverage at our main center in downtown Orlando and at oneof our regional care centers. The Orlando Health Cancer InstituteCenter for Advanced Therapy treats more than 180 patients per day,at 5 locations across the Orlando area. Our equipment includes 4matched Varian TrueBeams, Varian Edge, Varian IX, Elekta Synergy,ViewRay MRIdian, Mevion S250 proton therapy system, Nucletron
HDR,6 CT
simulators, and a recently installed Varian Ethos system.
Treatment planning for all centers is performed using Full-ScaleEclipse/ARIA deployed through Citrix. Our practice currently has 11Radiation Oncologists across all 5 of our locations. The physicianswork alongside a talented medical physics team that includes 8.5photon-clinic physicists, 2.5 proton-clinic physicists, 2 therapyphysics residents, 11 Medical Dosimetrists, 2 medical physicsassistants, and a medical physics research fellow. Our program iscurrently experiencing significant growth with physical expansionopportunities across the Central Florida area.
