Saratoga Medical has a Part-time (PRN) opening for a Medical Physicist to work at VA Medical Center. Position is 208 hours an annually. We offer a competitive salary and the wonderful opportunity to care for and provide services to our military members.
Performance Work Statement (PWS) Overview
Provide on-site coverage for radiation oncology services.
Conduct QA testing, equipment calibration, dosimetry, and support.
Follow standards of the American College of Radiology, ASTRO, and AAPM.
Maintain consistent staffing and arrange replacements as needed.
Detailed QA processes and performance expectations included.

Licensure & Certification:

Must hold a Therapeutic Radiological Physicist license (any U.S. State, Territory, or DC).
Must hold or obtain Florida licensure.

Required:

Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Medical or Therapeutic Medical Physics.

Experience:

Must have hands-on experience with: (Varian Linear Accelerators, IGRT, Eclipse & ARIA systems, MapCheck 3, CT Simulator, Superficial X-ray equipment.
Must complete CEUs and VA-required training (HIPAA, harassment, suicide prevention, etc.).
Must pass required health screenings (TB, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, bloodborne pathogens).
