Competitive retirement package to secureyour future. Responsibilities Verifies, documents and maintains allinformation used in calculation and delivery of radiation dosesgiven to patients. Analyzes and evaluates equipment performanceused in the delivery of radiation therapy. Provides technicalassistance and clinical support to Consultant staff and Alliedhealth personnel as needed. Remains current in treatment techniquesand applicable medical physics practice. Provides instruction toresidents, dosimetry staff, therapy staff, pre and postdoctoralstudents. Develops, and performs quality assurance procedures andmonitors radiation output, mechanical integrity and safety ofequipment used in radiation therapy. Remains current on Federal,State, and Institutional safety guidelines. Qualifications M.S.,M.M.P., D.M.P., or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a masters and/ordoctoral degree in Physics or a related field. Completion of aCAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics EducationPrograms) accredited residency in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
