Competitive retirement package to secureyour future. Responsibilities Verifies, documents and maintains allinformation used in calculation and delivery of radiation dosesgiven to patients. Analyzes and evaluates equipment performanceused in the delivery of radiation therapy. Provides technicalassistance and clinical support to Consultant staff and Alliedhealth personnel as needed. Remains current in treatment techniquesand applicable medical physics practice. Provides instruction toresidents, dosimetry staff, therapy staff, pre and postdoctoralstudents. Develops, and performs quality assurance procedures andmonitors radiation output, mechanical integrity and safety ofequipment used in radiation therapy. Remains current on Federal,State, and Institutional safety guidelines. Qualifications Pleaseinclude a cover letter with your application. M.S., M.M.P., D.M.P.,or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a masters and/or doctoral degree inPhysics or a related field. Completion of a CAMPEP (Commission onAccreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs) accreditedresidency in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
