Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Physicist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing techniques for standardizing and calibrating imaging and therapy equipment, managing treatment planning for special cases, and assisting staff with treatment plans, simulations, and device fabrication. Your focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and safety of treatment plans. In this role, you will consult with physicians, perform acceptance testing, commission new equipment, and maintain ongoing quality assurance to meet hospital, state, federal, and accrediting body standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate treatment planning and related procedures as needed. Oversee and implement quality control measures. Document and track all physics service activities. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and radiation safety protocols. Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment within the department. Achieve goals in an efficient and effective manner.

Qualifications:
Education:

Minimum of a Master’s degree in Medical Physics.

Experience:

DABR certification and at least 2 years of experience in a progressive cancer center or similar facility. Interested?
