Job Description The Portfolio StrategyLead (Director) is a core member of the R D Global PortfolioStrategy team. The Portfolio Strategy Lead will support portfoliodecision-making and R D strategic initiatives working incollaboration with stakeholders across R D Therapeutic AreaUnits, Functions, Research, Corporate Strategy, and Commercial.

R D. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business partneracross
R D:
Therapeutic Areas (TAUs), Functions, and Research.
Partner with the Commercial Organizations and Corporate Strategy insupport of our initiatives. Build, maintain, and leverage anexpertise in pipeline assets to support key internal initiatives.
Support the continued improvement and embedding of cross-TAUportfolio management and prioritization processes for pipelineassets which include scenario planning, risk / value analyses andtrade-off decision frameworks. Provide strategic leadership andexpertise with respect to portfolio analytics and decision-makingincluding structuring of analytics and interpretation of insightsthat facilitates trade-off discussions and buy-up decisions for newprojects. Support R D strategic initiatives, includingExecutive-level R D strategic portfolio reviews, thedevelopment and tracking of R D Key Performance Indicators, andthe PTRS estimation and approval process. Monitor portfolioprogress and related milestones, identifying gaps and makingstrategic recommendations. Support strategic initiatives thatenable R D to improve productivity and execute on the vision ofbeing an agile, patient-centric organization.

EDUCATION,BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
MBA or PhD highly preferredMinimum 10 years industry experience in an R D or Portfoliofunction and a deep understanding of the drug discovery anddevelopment process. Management / strategy consulting experience aplus. Base Salary Range:
$169,400.00 – $266,200.00 The estimatedsalary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. Theactual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors,including the qualifications of the individual applicant for theposition, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills,level of education attained, certifications or other professionallicenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/orfrom which they will be performing the job.
The actual base salaryoffered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wagerequirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may beeligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
