Lead cross-functional project teams to complete R D projects and programs from scoping & planning through implementation & launch. An appropriate candidate must be a flexible, self-directed, organized, dependable, proactive, and persistent project leader. He/she must effectively plan and manage projects, lead & coach project team members, solve problems, and make decisions with limited direction.
Key Duties:
Plan and execute projects and programs from concept and scoping to successful completion, including the launch of products in intended markets to ensure a complete development portfolio. General Project Management (forming project teams, budgeting, assigning & tracking tasks, identifying & mitigating project risks, etc.) Support to fellow project managers as needed to secure successful implementation of development portfolio. Reporting to suitable stakeholders & steering groups with regular cadence to provide transparent communication of project status, risks, and issues. Initiating and participating in continuous improvement of processes and development practices to further enhance capacity, efficiency, predictability, and quality.
Authority & Responsibilities:
Effectively organize and lead cross-functional project teams using project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Using strong communication skills and attention to details, direct the activities of internal and external team members to meet project objectives. Plan, monitor and coordinate project tasks, as well as maintain and update project plans and schedules. Independently manage a diverse scope of projects and programs with limited supervision. Project types may include, but are not limited to, new product or technology introductions, enhancing product features & design to meet user or market needs, addressing quality issues, reducing costs, and ensuring continued compliance to applicable regulations.
Minimum Position Requirements:
3+ years of formal project management experience, preferably managing complex engineering projects in a highly regulated industry. Experience with various project management software/tools and Microsoft Suite applications. Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations. Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and adapt to changing requirements. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
Well-versed in Medical Device development. Experience with formal design controls in a gated product development process. Experience utilizing Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
Education/Certification:
BS in Engineering or similar discipline. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
Other:
This is a hybrid position that requires regular presence in our Lebanon office. Some travel will be required (/
