Full-Time The Research and Development (R D) Associate III is responsible for the development and improvement of products, processes, or technologies within ananization. This position works closely with a team of scientists, engineers, or technicians to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the overall R D efforts demonstrating experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. This position perform a variety of scientific and administrative tasks with a certain degree of creativity and latitude expected. This full time position is 100% on-site in the Daleville, AL area. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. May be required, including but not limited to, experimental psychology, sensory science, flight simulation and/or aeromedical research, and good laboratory practice. Must have a deep understanding of their field of expertise and possess scientific or technical knowledge with a strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans and executes research projects or experiments. Conducts literature reviews and gather relevant information on a specific area of research. Designs and conducts experiments to test hypotheses or validate new ideas. Collects and analyzes data using various scientific or technical methods. Develops or improves products, processes, or technologies. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Documents experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately. Troubleshoots technical issues and proposing solutions. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through literature review or attending conferences. ​

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree with three to six (3-6) years of experience or a Master’s degree with one to five (1-5) years of experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools,puter, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise withputers ers and light traffic.
