Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
Level I:

Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or a closely related field; no experience required.

Level II:

Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in research practices and protocols.

Level III :

Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or a closely related field and 4 years of experience in research practices and protocols. Substitutions allowed for

Experience:

When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications Minimum Skills and Abilities Basic construction and maintenance skills and ability to safely operate power tools and tractors. Minimum Technology Skills General experience in word processing and spreadsheet software.
