Research Scientist 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 4202 East Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33620 The Song lab is seeking an experienced technician that can assist will all aspects of our bench level research. In particular, we are seeking a skilled scientist with experience performing histological sample preparation, sectioning, and staining, conducting human stem cell culture and differentiation, and maintaining mouse lines. The person holding this position is expected to significantly contribute to ongoing research programs in the Song lab and USF Heart Institute by not only can collaborating with other scientists on various projects, but also conducting independent research. Conducting histology and immunohistochemistry assays, performing molecular and biochemistry experiments, performing cell cultures, animal handling and preparation of manuscripts and grant applications.
