As a Research Assistant, you will help facilitate this vision by assisting with the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects. Your efforts will focus on assisting with various related tasks, such as enhancing diabetic retinopathy screenings and driving improvements in Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience across our system. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:00PM, with the potential of a hybrid schedule after 90 day training period. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Assist the research team with research study related tasks. Assist with completion of protocol related activities. Obtain and maintain clinical competencies for unlicensed caregivers such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, POC testing and other testing as needed. Assist with the development and coordination of the research subject schedule in compliance with the research protocol. Assis with the collection, recording and maintenance of research study records. Assist in the development and maintenance of research tools, such as spreadsheets, questionnaires, and/or brochures as needed. Establish and maintain filing systems. Order and stock supplies. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma/GED and one year of experience in a healthcare setting OR Bachelor’s Degree Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer-based skills, including Word processing, spreadsheets, and database and presentation software Certification in Human Subjects Research as required by the Responsible Conduct of Research guidelines within 90 days of hire Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of medical terminology Pre-Med Student Experience as a Quality Improvement Methodologist Familiarity with data and statistical software Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Pay Range:
$16.47 – $23.61 / hour The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
