Post-Doctoral Fellowship The Child & Family Institute -Westchester is currently accepting applications for one full-time postdoctoral fellow beginning Fall of 2024. The position provides a unique opportunity for clinical, counseling, and school psychology doctoral graduates interested in working with children and families in a dynamic, collaborative, mission-driven practice to obtain specialized training in evidence-based treatments including: CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), CBT for Selective Mutism, acceptance-based behavioral therapy, modular and transdiagnostic therapies, as well as neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments. The postdoctoral fellow will also have the opportunity to facilitate CBT, DBT, and/or social skills groups, and take part in comprehensive didactics programming and in-house case conferences. Clinical postdoctoral fellowships are anticipated to start between July 1 and September 1, 2024. CFI’s team of highly specialized clinical psychologists and social workers share expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, parenting and maternal health, tic and habit disorders, OCD, adoption and attachment, chronic medical conditions, and more. The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by one of our Senior Directors/licensed clinical psychologists. Qualifications Candidates must have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical, counseling, and/or school psychology from an APA-accredited program, as well as an APA-accredited internship. Prior clinical experience with cognitive-behavior therapy and other evidence-based treatments, and with children, adolescents and families, is strongly preferred. Our typical post-doc salary ranges from $80-$100K per year, with significant second-year salary increase and career advancement opportunities.
