reading program team focused on remediating reading problems for middle school students with and at-risk for reading disabilities. This part-time, hourly position is from mid-April through September 30, 2025. Pay is $18.00 an hour. Number of hours are intermittent and change daily/weekly depending on the necessary amount of work to complete.

Principal Duties:

Must be available to work during public school hours (8:00am-4:00pm). We work with schools during school hours. Participate in training to learn how to implement standardized assessments to an interrater compliance of 95%. Implement standardized assessments to middle school students with and at-risk for reading disabilities. Assist with coordinating all assessment schedules. Represents the program professionally at meetings and community events Ensure all aspects of data collection of the protocol are being implemented rigorously. Scoring assessments and filling in scannables with test scores. Organize timely and accurate data reporting in program data systems such as excel. Travels to schools to conduct assessments. Work flexible schedule which includes mornings and afternoons. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate well with others. Understanding of how to work with middle school students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements): High school degree Bachelor’s degree preferred. Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements): Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Experience with standardized assessment implementation. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
