Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Employment is contingent upon funding. Responsibilities
Assist the lab manager with processing water and environmental samples
Help maintain administrative and lab documentation and records
Track project goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Smartsheets
Ensure clear communication with lab and project managers
Help maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
Support project teams in collaborative, goal-oriented workspaces Shift Specifics Up to 15 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Current student with background in Biology and/or Chemistry Preferred Experience Prior laboratory experience or exposure to lab settings
Proposed Salary $16.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
