Oversee day-to-day operations of ongoing research projects, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
Coordinate with team members to allocate resources efficiently and maintain clear communication on project progress.
Monitor project outcomes and adjust plans as necessary to align with the goals of the research and stakeholder expectations. Percentage of time 20

Duties/Responsibilities Student Mentorship:

Mentor undergraduate and graduate students involved in the research, providing guidance on research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.
Support students in developing their academic and professional skills, helping them to achieve personal and research goals.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student innovation and participation in AI and manufacturing research. Percentage of time 20

Duties/Responsibilities Proposal Development:

Collaborate with faculty and research staff to identify funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of proposals for grants.
Draft sections of proposals related to technical objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes in the areas of AI and manufacturing.
Ensure proposals align with the broader strategic goals of the research team and emphasize innovation, impact, and societal benefit. Percentage of time 15

Conduct independent research in AI applications within the manufacturing sector, with a focus on new approaches and technologies.
