Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities Specific tasks will include rapidly identifying and count small insects under stereo microscope magnification, assisting with insect colonies, planting seeds/seedlings and other duties related to entomological research. When samples (either frozen or in alcohol) are collected and in storage, the samples will be processed in scheduled time each week. Colonies and the plants that maintain these colonies need to be checked twice weekly. Other duties will be determined in a weekly lab meeting. Duties will include scouting for insects in the fields.
