Description:
The Department of Structural and Cellular Biology at TulaneUniversity School of Medicine is seeking applications for aresearch track Assistant Professor position in liver diseaseresearch. We invite candidates with a strong background in liverdisease research pathophysiology to apply. The successful candidatewill have a demonstrated record of research excellence in liverresearch, specifically cholestatic liver disease (alcoholassociated liver disease and metabolic dysfunction associated withliver disease) and will be expected to establish an independent,extramurally funded research program. The position provides anexciting opportunity to collaborate with multidiscinary teams,access state-of-the-art facilities, and contribute to mechanisticand translation research efforts in liver disese.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalentin the relevant field. Postdoctoral research experience with afocus on cholestatic liver disease. Strong publication record inthe field of liver research. Commitment to excellence in mentoringand service.
