Department Vice Chancellor for Academic A Position Summary The Executive Director of Research Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for research development, support, and compliance across the university. As Executive Director of Research Services, you will manage the Office of Research Services, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering an environment that promotes and drives research excellence, facilitates interdisciplinary collaborations, and ensures effective management of research grants, data analytics, and institutional research activities. Key Roles Lead and coordinate university-wide research initiatives, fostering collaboration among faculty, departments, schools, and external partners. Oversee pre-award and post-award research administration, ensuring effective proposal development, grant management, IRB review and compliance with funding regulations. Direct institutional research, data analytics, and reporting to support strategic planning, accreditation, and decision-making. Develop and implement research policies, best practices, and quality assurance mechanisms to enhance research productivity and impact. Supervise and mentor research services, administrative staff, promoting a culture of service, integrity, and continuous quality improvement. Advise university leadership on research trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Manage budgets, resources, and operational plans for research services, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
