Job Description:

BENEDETTI ARTS FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW

Founded in 2021, the Benedetti Arts Fellowship provides opportunities for early career arts professionals from historically-minoritizedmunities toplete large-scale arts projects within amunity-focused liberal arts college program. During their time in residence, Fellows will further have such opportunities to teach students within the Department of Fine and Performing Arts (FPA) and engage with the widermunity as befit the needs of the college and interests of the resident in any given year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

For the Spring 2026 Fellowship, MCLA/MOSAIC invites applications from arts professionals with experience and credentials within the field of Arts Management for a five-month arts project and teaching fellowship. The Fellow will engage in a semester-long process of creating and/orpleting a substantial arts project. The resulting work will be presented as part of MOSAIC’s programming season at the end of the residency period. While in residence, the Fellow will also teach a class at MCLA on a special topic within the field of Arts Management. Final determination about the nature of the special topic will be made based on curricular need and Fellow interest. The Fellow will also be expected to deliver an opening lecture to the collegemunity, as well as one or moremunity-facing public workshops.

Requirements:

The Fellow will be selected on the basis of outstanding professional aplishment, teaching interest and experience, andpelling arts project vision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Fellow must be able to work independently and fulfill such teaching duties as agreed upon hiring.
The Fellow must demonstrate the ability to integrate content and issues relating to diverse populations.
The Fellow must be able to work effectively with diverse populations.
Required Qualifications
MA, MFA, or PhD.
Prior teaching experience.
Knowledge of current methodologies and practices within the field of Arts Management.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Fellows will receive a $20,000 salary for the five-month residency periodmencing in January 2026. Housing will also be provided at no cost to the Fellow. Additionalpensation at institutional pay rates will be offered for the Fellow to teach a 3-credit course during the residency.
