Overview:
The Cone Health Administrative Fellowship is adynamic, two-year postgraduate experience that provides Fellowswith comprehensive exposure to core components of the Cone Healthenterprise. Cone Health is seeking highly motivated,forward-thinking individuals with a passion for healthcare to applyfor the 2026-2028 Cone Health Administrative Fellowship. ApplicationRequirements:
The 2026-2028 Cone Health Administrative Fellowshipis open to anyone with a graduate degree including but not limitedto MHA, MBA, MPH, and MSHA. All coursework and degrees must becompleted by May 2026. Applicants who must complete a fellowship tofulfill a graduation are welcomed to apply. Responsibilities:
The intent of the Administrative Fellowship is todevelop leaders who intend to pursue a career in healthcareadministration. The role of an Administrative Fellow is to utilizeand further develop the skills and knowledge acquired duringgraduate education and previous work experiences, within a formalhealth care setting. The fellowship is designed to provide thefellow with opportunities to:
- Develop a practical understanding ofclinical and administrative interrelationships in a health careorganization.
- Further the development of a code of personal ethicsand dedication to the high ideals and standards, which areessential for a career in health care administration.
- Improve thefellow’s understanding of the concepts and principles presented inthe didactic portion of their program.
- Strengthen leadership,judgment, problem-solving and administrative skills.
- Develop anunderstanding of the inadequacies and constraints of the healthcare delivery system and the role of the administrator inmaximizing the quality of services available in the system
- Develop goals for personal and professional development.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Required:
Master’s-prepared individualswho have completed the degree requirements or are candidates (onschedule to complete degree before June 1) in health careadministration (MHA), business administration (MBA), public health(MPH), health services administration (MSHA), nursing (MSN), orrelated field of study. For applicants who must complete afellowship to fulfill a graduation requirement as part of agraduate program, coursework must be completed prior to the startof the fellowship and fellows must obtain their degree by the endof the first year of the fellowship.
EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
Healthcare experience highly preferred.
