Job Description
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Strategic Initiatives and Program Support (SIPS), Data and Information Branch What Will You Do This position will be to assist in the development of the Data, Technology and AI program for NCDOT. Projects will include the creation of a data and systems inventory for the department, support for data management implementation tasks, and the development of training materials and communications related to the program. Where possible the tasks will be tailored to the fellow’s skills and interests. Business analysis, data analysis, and communications skills will be developed during the fellowship. Participate in professional development, recruitment, and outreach activities Prior exposure to program coordinator or business analysis capacity. Experience with technology related to data analytics (i.e. PowerBI) or other emerging technologies such as AI and cloud applications. Majors such as Information Systems, Business Systems, and Data Analysis. Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Fellows Program Must possess bachelor’s degree from, or be currently enrolled in masters, or professional level program (e.g., Law School) at an accredited North Carolina Historically Black College/University (HBCU) or Minority Serving Institution (MSI) earned between 2022 – 2025 Or be a current graduate or law school student.
