  • Organic Chemistry Position Overview
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Patent Agent specializing in Organic Chemistry to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in protecting their intellectual property by preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO and other relevant authorities. This role requires a deep understanding of organic chemistry, as well as the patent prosecution process in the pharmaceutical sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file patent applications for inventions related to organic chemistry and pharmaceuticals.
Conduct prior art searches and analyze patentability of inventions.
Draft responses to office actions and communicate with patent examiners at the USPTO.
Advise clients on patent strategy and intellectual property management.
Collaborate with inventors and scientists to gather necessary technical information for patent applications. Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
Registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Experience in patent prosecution, particularly in a law firm setting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
