College Access Partnerships – 240105 Minimum Qualifications
Must possesses a valid, unexpired driver’s license
Must pass a Criminal Background Check
Ability to communicate in written and/or verbal form
Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Ability to be organized
Some college with course work in research or data management
Detail oriented and able to work with advanced spreadsheets and large data sets
Experience using excel and google sheets for data entry and organization
Ability to support data evidence
Must be willing to work 5-10 hours per week
License/Certification Required Essential Job Functions
The Grant Research Support Specialist position will support the work of the College Access Partnerships Research (CAP) and Evaluation teams with a focus on data collection and management from CAP partner school districts. Other tasks to support the research and evaluation work of the grants as needed with the potential for growth into full-time work if more grants are awarded. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Experience collecting district-level educational data for PSUs in North Carolina
Bachelor’s degree
Duty station is flexible but some travel to campus and to school sites in western NC may be necessary on an infrequent basis Preference given to candidates who can work in or close to Boone, NC, but not required
