Duties/Responsibilities:
Visioning and development of collaborative research with U.S. Tribes.
Support of long-term research involving culturally significant flora and fauna.
Facilitation of outreach and education programming co-designed with Indigenous communities.
Development of data management practices aligned with Indigenous community needs.
Minimum Acceptable Education and Experience:
The applicant will hold a Ph.D. in natural resources, STEM education, or a related field.
Additional experience applying Indigenous knowledge systems to research with U.S. federally recognized Tribes.
Knowledge of tribal governance of natural resources.
Awareness of data sovereignty.
Proven record of applied work with Indigenous communities.
