Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Assistant – Casual for the School of Social Work. Under the supervision of Cory Morton, Assistant Research Professor, Center for Prevention Science, this position is part of an externally funded project supporting collaborative quality improvement efforts in NJ’s public child welfare system. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Handles data collection and management. Conducts participant interviews. FLSA Nonexempt Salary Details $28 – $32 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience conducting qualitative interviews. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Ability to complete assignments independently and exercise independent judgment when appropriate. Ability to work productively in collaborative situations. Familiarity with spreadsheets/database applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English.
