Position Summary A research position in experimental and computational topological metamaterials is available in the group of Dr. Camelia Prodan (Physics, Fordham University Rose Hill campus) supported by NSF
funds.
Essential Functions Achieves precise milestones on research projects assigned by the supervisor.
Writes first draft and submits collaborative scientific papers on a regular basis.
Participates in group meetings and works collaboratively with the members engaged in the project.
Develops and performs experimental and computational analysis of systems assigned by the supervisor.
Supervises high school and undergraduate students.

Additional Functions Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience Bachelor’s of Science in Physics or related area.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills Advanced experience in Comsol acoustic and topological metamaterials.
Preferred Qualifications Minimum Starting Salary $45,000
Maximum Starting Salary $45,000
Note Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
