Summary This position is located in the Office of the Registrar, United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Maritime Administration (MARAD). Responsibilities The Institutional Research Assistant (OA), you will: Identifies the information required to meet project goals and ensures accuracy and validity of results. Gathers necessary data from the Academy’s computerized database or other available records. Establishes and manipulates spreadsheets to develop variables for analysis. Applies appropriate statistical tests and calculations to examine the subject under consideration. Prepares a draft report, including tables and graphs, presenting results and recommendations for discussion and approval. The ideal candidate will have experience using statistical analysis software, databases, spreadsheets, and charts to report data effectively. Qualifications To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.
